We tackled 2 Thessalonians 2:9–12 (but on the night didn’t get past verse 9), a passage that pulls no punches — speaking about deception, delusion, and the ultimate showdown between truth and lies. It’s one of Paul’s darkest sections, but as Shaun said right at the start, “There’s a glimmer of hope amid the darkness for us.” A Passage That Does What It Says on the Tin After reading the verses aloud, Shaun noted that the text is “straightforward enough.” There’s nothing mysterious about the warning — it says exactly what it means.
