Led by Shaun Fereday, Leader @ SFGH Churc h Continuing the Qualifications for Elders: Sober-Minded, Self-Controlled, Respectable, Hospitable & Able to Teach 1 Timothy 3:2-7 Good evening, friends — we continued our careful journey through 1 Timothy chapter 3 last night, picking up where we left off on the character qualities God requires for those who serve as elders/overseers. Shaun reminded us of the overall plan: we’ve already explored what an elder and a deacon are, and we’re now working systematically through the qualifications. Some of the list will be covered before the summer break, with the rest (including deacons) resuming in September.
